Quickstart

This guide walks you through connecting your site to RankAscend, setting up a publishing integration, and generating your first article end to end. The whole process takes about five minutes.

Step 1: Connect your site

In your dashboard, go to Sites → Add Site and enter your site URL. RankAscend crawls up to 50 pages to learn your tone, topics, and existing content structure. The crawl runs in the background and surfaces keyword opportunities in your queue within a few minutes.

Step 2: Connect a publishing integration

RankAscend can publish directly to WordPress, a GitHub repository, or a Hygraph CMS project. Connect at least one before generating content.

WordPress

Go to Settings → Integrations → WordPress and fill in your site URL, WordPress admin username, and an application password. RankAscend validates the credentials immediately and saves the integration. Every article RankAscend generates is converted to HTML and posted as a live published post.

GitHub

Go to Settings → Integrations → GitHub and click Connect Repository. RankAscend installs a GitHub App on your account with scoped access to the repositories you choose. After authorization, select the target repository and configure the branch, file format (md or mdx), and publish mode (direct push or pull request).

Hygraph

Go to Settings → Integrations → Hygraph and enter your project API endpoint and a Content API token with write access. Map each RankAscend content type to the corresponding Hygraph model, then configure which fields receive the title, body, slug, and metadata.

Step 3: Generate your first article

Open the Queue tab and pick a keyword RankAscend has surfaced for your site. Click Generate and choose a content type (blog article, comparison, use case, or listicle). RankAscend writes a long-form article (1,000-3,000 words) with structured data and internal links, then publishes it through your configured integration automatically.

You can also add your own keyword by clicking Add keyword in the Queue.
